Sista Afro

BLR edition

Personal projects are keepin' me alive. Image done in Illustrator. Original sista photo in lightbox. She was special. Have known it alredy when taking the pic on that tweaky Belarusian pool table.

This one created to be the first to fill my empty, white walls. Now I know Illustrator is an ultimate application. The canvas was set to 140×80 cm, filled mainly with vectors. Somewhere traced photos, elsewhere iStock images or GO Media vectors.

Intresting for me here is that I do avoid using multiple Illustrator layers when composing, with the „select objects by path only“ option enabled, of course. At the end of this work I had to apply two extra layers, because the final piece contains pretty much of small objects to be not-so-well manageable on just a single layer.

I have added 30% of Cyan into the black color to do the blacks more deep when it comes to print. It is visible even on the screen comparing to BLR Renaissance for instance.
